Im Sommer 2025 nahmen Studierende des Studiengangs BWL-Industrie-Supply Chain Management (SCM) an einem internationalen Intensivprogramm an der KTU - Kaunas Technical University, Litauen, teil. Zu den internationalen Partnern zählten auch das IPMAIA - Polytechnic Institute of Maia, Portugal, das IPSA - Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées, Frankreich, und die PB - Bialystok University of Technology, Polen.
Das sogenannte „Blended Intensive Program“ (BIP) zum Thema „AI - Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Shaping our World” bestand aus einer online durchgeführten Vorbereitungsphase, in der die in internationalen und interdisziplinären Teams organisierten Studierenden verschiedene Aspekte des Themas vorbereiteten, und aus einer intensiven Präsentationswoche an der KTU - Kaunas Technical University, Litauen. Hier präsentierten und diskutierten die studentischen Teams ihre Arbeitsergebnisse.
Das von Prof. Dr. Torsten Harms, Professor in der Fakultät Wirtschaft an der DHBW Karlsruhe, und Prof. Dr. Karsten Junge, Leiter Studiengang BWL-Industrie (SCM), DHBW Karlsruhe, initiierte, ausgestaltete, organisierte und begleitete Programm vereinte technologische, betriebswirtschaftliche und ethische Aspekte bei der Entwicklung und Nutzung von Artificial Intelligence und wurde 2025 bereits zum dritten Mal durchgeführt.

Artificial Intelligence on an international and interdisciplinary scale: „Blended Intensive Program on Artificial Intelligence 2025, Kaunas, Lithuania“
In summer 2025, students from the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department participated in an international intensive program at Kaunas Technical University (KTU), Lithuania. The international partners included the Polytechnic Institute of Maia (IPMAIA), Portugal, the Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées (IPSA), France, and Bialystok University of Technology (PB), Poland.
The so-called "Blended Intensive Program" (BIP), titled "AI - Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Shaping Our World," consisted of an online preparatory phase, during which students, organized in international and interdisciplinary teams, explored various aspects of the topic, followed by an intensive presentation week at KTU, Kaunas, Lithuania. During this week, the student teams presented and discussed their findings.
Initiated, designed, organized, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Torsten Harms and Prof. Dr. Karsten Junge, the program integrated technological, business, and ethical perspectives on the development and application of artificial intelligence. In 2025, the program was conducted for the third time.
