The Deutschlandticket has recently been introduced in Germany. It costs €49 per month and allows you to use all local and regional trains throughout Germany. The ticket is a subscription and must be cancelled if you no longer wish to use it. It should be purchased with a little lead time, as it can take a few days to be issued. It is the perfect solution, if you plan to travel in Germany on budget and have time to use the slower regional trains. You can find more information here.
