Proof of German health insurance
(information will be provided by the International Office)

Administration fee

You have to pay the following administration fee per semester by bank transfer. Please wait for an email from our finance department with further information and the bank details.

 
€108.70 winter semester 2025/26

The administration fee includes campus insurance, access to sports facilities, cafeterias etc.

    

 

 

After arriving in Karlsruhe, you will get the enrollment certificate and your student identity card from the International Office at DHBW Karlsruhe (1st floor, room D 118.1). The enrollment certificate is required for the registration office in Karlsruhe.

 

What you can do with your Student Identity Card

  • You can use it to use the printers and make copies  
  • You can use the library (both the library at DHBW and the KIT library in Karlsruhe)
  • You can charge the card at the dining halls, pay for the meals or coffee at the cafeteria and buy snacks and drinks from the vending machines
