First step: You have to apply at your home university for a study place at DHBW Karlsruhe. After a successful application your home university will nominate you.

Winter Semester: 1 September – 28 February

Nomination by the university: 15 February – 30 April.
After being nominated by your home university, you will receive a link via e-mail for registration at DHBW.
Registration deadline for nominated students/submission of the relevant documents: 15 May
 

Summer Semester: 1 March – 31 August

Nomination by the university: 1 September – 30 October.
After being nominated by your home university, you will receive a link via e-mail for registration at DHBW.
Registration deadline for nominated students/submission of the relevant documents:  15 November

Please note that all foreign exchange students must choose courses that mount up to at least 15 ECTS per semester.
